  The latest issue of our research journal presents a comprehensive examination of various criminological research topics, reflecting the breadth and depth of scholarly inquiry in the field. These were the research outputs of Class Tagapangsangalang, SY 2023-2024.

  We begin by delving into the unique challenges faced by female inmates within the criminal justice system, exploring their experiences, needs, and pathways to rehabilitation. Next, we investigate the effectiveness of body-worn cameras in law enforcement practices, assessing their impact on accountability, transparency, and community relations. Our journal also delves into the realm of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), examining public awareness and its implications for urban safety and security strategies.

  In light of recent legislative developments, we analyze the implementation and consequences of the Safe Space Act, aiming to enhance our understanding of victim protection and support mechanisms. Furthermore, we explore the evolving landscape of cybercrime, dissecting emerging trends, regulatory responses, and challenges in combating digital offenses effectively. Additionally,  research on the implementation and effectiveness of curfew laws for minors was also available here. We explore the rationale behind curfew regulations, their impact on juvenile delinquency rates, and their implications for community safety and youth development. This research contributes to ongoing debates on juvenile justice and offers evidence-based recommendations for policymakers and practitioners working to create safer and more supportive environments for young people.

  Shifting our focus to urban infrastructure, we evaluate the modernization of public utility vehicles and its potential implications for crime rates, transportation efficiency, and community safety. Lastly, we investigate the perceptions of employers when hiring individuals with criminal records, shedding light on the challenges and opportunities for ex-convicts seeking reintegration into the workforce.

  Through rigorous research and analysis, our journal aims to advance knowledge, inform policymaking, and promote evidence-based practices in the field of criminology and criminal justice.
